StockChart™ is a software product for the HP 200LX Palmtop computer that makes it possible to download stock and foreign exchange historical data and to graphically analyze the data off line. Graphical analysis includes the ability to compute and display linear regressions, moving averages, and extending regressions to predict trends.
Version 3 has full support for the download and analysis of historical stock closing price and volume data from all United States exchanges. In addition, Version 3 supports the download and analysis of historical data for foreign exchange rates and for stock indices such as the Dow Industrials, the Nasdaq Composite, and the Standard & Poor’s 500.
Data can be downloaded on demand by selecting a system manager icon, or it can be downloaded at a scheduled time (even over night) to update the charts at your convenience. Most of the data is available with a 15 minute delay, so updating can occur as often during the trading day as desired.
StockChart™ is designed as an off line system to take advantage of the portability of the HP 200LX. Data can be analyzed anywhere you happen to be!
